Privacy policy
Your privacy, respected.
Anonymity is a foundation of recovery. Here's how the Dry Dock handles your information and photos. Last updated October 25, 2026.
Anonymity at meetings
We honor the traditions of the fellowships that meet at the Dry Dock. We never take photos, video or recordings during recovery meetings, and we never post who attends them. What is said in a meeting stays there. You are welcome to stay as anonymous as you like: first name only, or no name at all.
Photos at community events
Our social and community events, such as euchre tournaments, car shows, holiday dinners, parades, Recovery Fest and fundraisers, are public. Photos and video taken at these events may appear on this website, our Facebook page and group, flyers and other Dry Dock materials. We don't post last names or tag people without permission, and we never describe anyone in a photo as being in recovery.
Don't want to be photographed? Tell a volunteer at the event and we'll keep you out of shots. If you see a photo of yourself you'd like taken down, email drydockrecovery@gmail.com or call (810) 689-4305, and we'll remove it from our website and social media as quickly as we can, no questions asked.
Information you give us
When you use a form on this site (volunteer sign-up, space rental request, donation offer or class suggestion), we receive what you type, such as your name, email, phone number and message. We use it only to respond to you and arrange what you asked about. We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added. Form messages reach our inbox through FormSubmit, an email-forwarding service.
Donations
Online donations are processed by Zeffy, a payment platform for nonprofits. Your card details go directly to Zeffy and their payment processor. The Dry Dock never sees or stores your card number. We receive your name, email and gift amount so we can thank you and send your tax receipt. Donor information is kept confidential and is never sold or shared.
Cookies and outside services
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. To work, the site loads a few things from outside services: fonts from Google Fonts, the map from Google Maps, the meeting schedule from Google Sheets, and links to Facebook and Zeffy. Those services may receive basic technical information such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies. If we add visitor statistics, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free tool and update this page.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
