A volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit in downtown Port Huron, governed by a board of local people who care.

Mission, vision and purpose

Mission

Why we exist

To provide people in recovery a safe place to gather for meetings, fellowship, recreation, education and spiritual support, with a sense of belonging.

Vision

What we're building

A resource for the whole recovery community, and support for the families and loved ones of people who are struggling.

Purpose

What we do

Help people who struggle with substance use live a life free from drugs and alcohol by giving them the resources for long-term recovery.

Our story

A new home on Huron Avenue.

In 2026 the Dry Dock moved from 412 Huron Ave into our new home at 207 Huron Ave, still downtown and still steps from the river.

Local grants, private donors, monthly givers and many hours of donated labor and materials made the move possible. The doors are open six days a week, the coffee is always on, and the meeting rooms stay busy with AA, NA, CoDA, DAA and faith-based groups.

Everything here runs on volunteers and community support. If the Dry Dock has helped you or someone you love, help us keep it going.
